Wedding season has begun!

This summer has flown by, and we have already started to see fall weather creep up on us. There are fewer days to go swimming and more days where I want to grab my sweater in the morning. I know a lot of people love the heat of the summer, but I love the cold weather! September through January is my favorite time of the year! The best foods and smells are in the air. I love fall clothing styles, and what is better than having leaves crunching under your feet? Ok...apples are definitely up there with the leaves. It's apple season soon!!!! I don't know if it'll be a great season though because a lot of trees lost their fruit back in the spring when we had the early warm weather followed by the frosts that froze a lot of the flowers. We'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

We also have hit the wedding season. We just attended a wedding for Andy's cousin a couple weeks ago. Click here for pictures. We had lots of fun! It was great seeing friends and family that we haven't seen for a while. Matt, my brother-in-law, is getting married to one of the sweetest girls I ever met, Kathy. Their wedding is on September 8th--just around the corner! We ordered the guy's tuxes about a week ago. James looks so cute in a coat-tail tux. Of course, I think Andy looks pretty sharp. :) I have this skirt that I like a lot, and have recently been able to start wearing it again because of losing weight. So I bought a new top piece to go with it, and a new pair of shoes for the wedding. I also am a Matron of Honor in a friend's wedding at the end of October. I recently got my bridesmaid dress, and I am now working on it with the other bridesmaid and her dress in altering them to fit us better.

We went garage saling the other day in a town south of us called Nunda. They had a huge community garage sale day, and it was lots of fun. At one point, an Amish family pulled over to the side of the road to let cars go by it, and James was so excited to see a horse that close. He was neighing at it, and the Amish family was smiling at how he was acting. We found some great deals that day--five pairs of shoes for James, a 4-wheeler power wheels, a swimming life jacket that we can use next year, a toy vacuum (which he used later to help clean the church), and lots of other great things.

On a final note--my brother Aaron just started his new job at an attorney's office in Buffalo, NY. Click here to see his really cool profile! We are so happy that Aaron finally has acheived his goal of practicing law, and what makes it better is that he is still nearby us!
