My attempt to force myself to improve my photography skills.
Day 3 - It is a challenge to find the time and subject to take a picture of. I'm also trying to use my different lenses to learn them better.
Day 4 - I tried to use the flash for better lighting indoors, but I kept getting really harsh shadows because of the angle. I settled on the tripod with a long exposure, but found that on the computer I should have opened up the aperature more as the head is a little unfocused. I still haven't gotten the grasp of clarity on previes on the LCD screen.
Day 5 - I purposely did very little photoshopping on this one. It simply didn't need it. The sky was beautiful on its own.
Day 6 - Near the school I'm working at this week is a very busy set of train tracks, except when you try to take a picture. I was trying to go for a distant focal point with a blurry forground. Well it didn't turn out blurry enough to look like it was done on purpose so it just looks like an out of focus picture. I should I tried changing the focal point to the near set of crossing gaurds esecially since it wouldn't have taken that much more with my memory card. One more lesson learned.
Day 13- I may not be posting daily, but these pictures are taken daily. I am trying to see a story in each picture and framing them more. I am also more aware of light. That doesn't mean I get it right, but I'm noticing it more and setting up the pictures better.
