Andy told me about this restaurant in Perry that makes this dessert, and he talked about it whenever he was out that way. The restaurant is Lumberyard for anybody who is ever in Perry and would like to try it out there.Andy brought some of this dessert home one time, and I was in heaven eating it up. We found out from the restaurant that the recipe was online at allrecipes.com. We found it, and it has become a family favorite! This dessert is so delicious and pretty easy to make. Enjoy!
Pecan Pumpkin Dessert by Sue Williams
The only thing I would change is to use parchment paper instead of wax paper. Wax paper tends to smoke when it is cooked--not too fun. Parchment paper is amazing stuff, and I use it for cooking and baking. I would recommend always keeping a roll or two in stock.
